Chenxi Huang
Chenxi Huang is a full-time assistant professor at the School of Life Sciences, Hubei University, China. She obtained a Ph.D. from Huazhong Agricultural University, China. In the last five years, she has contributed as co-author to thirty-four peer-reviewed papers and two book chapters on foodborne pathogens. She is an active reviewer for various food science and microbiology journals and is an editorial board member for two international journals. Her research focuses on biosensors, molecular technology, and phage-based technology to support the development of novel, highly specific, rapid, low-cost methods for quality control as well as separating and detecting Salmonella and other foodborne pathogens and contaminants.
